HIKING THE LAKE PLACID 9er
I wasn't planning on starting yet another challenge this year - but hey what the heck right?? I started this hiking challenge because I wanted to do some hikes in the Lake Placid region prior to the high peaks. They are much more mild, but offer some sweeping views of the ADK Mountains. I highly recommend for anyone looking to get the ADk high peak experience - but aren't quite ready to tackle those 4,000' mountain tops.
